"too many connections"

im trying everything to fix this problem. i dont know what it is but im trying. right now im trying to decrease the max amount of people see if that helps. im asking the mcforge devs. im trying, i know its really annoying.

Good, it usually happens around 7-10am EST (GMT-4:00). Any fix would be appreciated.

it happens alot more then that. like every 2 hours. u just only notice it at that time becuase im in bed and not here to restart the server.

UPDATE: i currently just disabled my firewall from mcforge. i hope this works. if it doesnt then...i dont know. i have one more thing to try if this fails.

Der, just to let you know, its 5:56pm EST and its doing the too many connections again..only 7 people in server.
And do you know how to make WOM not white screen? It won't let me go on any big map.

i know its becuase its a setting in the source code that i have to change. basically it was at 5 at default and i changed it to 15. if it says it again i will change it to 20. i just need to keep testing to get it right. this number controls the number of people that can connect at a time. so i increase it, it will fix the problem. oh and the higher i go with this number the more chance of lag when the server runs for a long period of time. so i wanna try and keep it as low as possible, thats y im testing.

der... this morning when i tried to get on the server... it said Too many connections...

i havent had a problem getting on today... never said too many connections. Dont you think you going alittle overboard shane?

calm down. ive been busy lately and cant watch the server as much. i know its still happens but its rare, its at the same setting its always been at, since i fixed it. and as mes said its only a game. a game with blocks in it, and only blocks....
